
The legal wrangle over the civic amenity site at Middle River is 'extremely cumbersome' and 'not the favoured method of resolution', according to the local government minister.
John Shimmin was questioned on the matter by Onchan MHK David Quirk in the House of Keys today.
Mr Quirk wanted to know the legal costs incurred to date, and whether Mr Shimmin would agree to trying to mediate the dispute to get it out of the courts.
