Length of Tynwald reccess questioned
Shortening politicians' summer recess would improve the quality of debate, according to one MHK.
Tynwald sits for the first time since July next week and Middle member Bill Shimmins is hoping for support for a motion to reduce the length of the summer break.
As it stands, the Manx parliament doesn't sit in August and September.
But Mr Shimmins believes this needs to change:
£5.3m on compromise agreements and £2.86m on mileage
