MHA tribute to former chairman James Shimmin
The Island hockey community is mourning the loss of a top official, player, umpire and popular character.
Former Manx Hockey Association chairman James Shimmin died earlier this week.
The MHA has paid a glowing tribute via Facebook saying "his sudden passing is indeed a shock" and "our thoughts and prayers are especially with Debbie".
Debbie is the current long-serving MHA secretary.
The post says the contribution James made to the sport "was significant".
The MHA says they wish to support Debbie "in every way we can" and "James will always be in our hearts".
