An appeal for people to donate old pairs of shoes is being renewed.
The campaign is being run by a footwear retailer and the Isle of Man branch of the Soroptimist organisation.
More than 300 pairs have been collected so far, but the target is 500.
David Greaves is the manager of Clarks shoe shop in Douglas.
He says the current initiative is also part of a long-running scheme Clarks does in conjunction with Unicef:

Some pubs to stay open for early-hours England match
Tynwald to revisit rates bill after the election
Douglas Council to install temporary play area in Marine Gardens
First risk assessment on proliferation financing published
