
Woolworths in Douglas closed its doors for the last time yesterday after trading in the Isle of Man for 84 years.
The company with its 850 stores across Britain was hit by the credit crunch, and went into administration earlier this month.
Despite efforts to save the firm, its liquidators were unable to find a buyer.
