Follows Tesco takeover
It's been confirmed vouchers for Shoprite will only be useable up until 31 December.
After that they'll be invalid, regardless of what it says on the voucher itself - although we don't yet know when Shoprite will cease to exist.
It follows the news of the company selling up all nine of its stores to Tesco.
Some of its staff are being kept on, while those in senior management positions are being given redundancy notices.
