MHK disappointed by lack of support for extension

Bill Shimmins was one of just nine members of keys to support the extension, meaning it was voted down, despite all of LegCo being in favour except the Lord Bishop. The Middle MHK says that vote was disappointing.

Twitter users may have seen a debate developing over the last few days, between Mr Shimmins and the Policy and Reform Minister, Chris Thomas.
