Longer term challenges include labour shortages
The new manager of the Isle of Man Meat Plant says a plan is currently being developed to change its fortunes after a difficult period.
Rebecca Miah was speaking on Mannin Line today, live from the Royal Manx Agricultural Show.
She says the meat plant faces difficulties around imports and labour shortages.
Whilst the board focuses on short term issues, Rebecca says collaboration is needed to tackle the bigger challenges:
