
A honey pollock on a Manx bap with a rose petal salad has been judged the best Manx dish in the south of the Island.
Samantha Honey-Pollock, cooking her signature dish, won the southern heat of the I Love Manxchef competition, at the Southern Agricultural Show at the weekend.
Samantha, who beat off competition from three other chefs, will be joined in the final by the winner of the north heat, which will be judged at the Royal Manx Show on August 8.
TV chefs the Hairy Bikers will pick the winner in the final at the Villa Marina on September 27.
