Information Commissioner releases new statement on matter
There is still 'significant work' needed to tighten up Manx Care data protection measures, according to the Island's Information Commissioner.
The authority has released a further statement following its decision to fine the health body £170,000 in July 2022.
It's after medical details of patients were emailed to more than 1,800 recipients.
However, the stay period for the penalty has been extended until 31 March after the commissioner was satisfied with the progress Manx Care has already made in handling information.
