
Onchan MHK David Quirk says the cafe facilities in Onchan Park will open this year, after worries they could be closed for months.
Chairman of Onchan Commissioners Brian Stowell said yesterday he was concerned the cafe wouldn't open this year, after a dispute with the last tenants.
But Mr Quirk says those concerns are ill-founded and the park, which opened at Easter, will soon have its cafe back.
He says there's new management at the cafe and they are planning to open soon, although not in time for the TT festival:
