Ramsey is shining by the sea once again.
The town won a silver gilt award at last night's Britain in Bloom ceremony at Torbay in Devon, hosted by BBC Gardeners’ World presenter, Toby Buckland.
It earned the accolade in the small town category of the competition, run by the Royal Horticultural Society.
Last night, judges praised a number of initiatives and said Ramsey had made great strides since it last represented the Island in the UK national finals in 2004.
They visited Ramsey last month, awarding marks for floral displays, permanent landscaping, sustainable development, environmental initiatives, public awareness and community participation.
