Repairs expected to cost around £100,000
Work to improve the footpaths in Silverdale Glen costing £100,000 is due to get underway next month.
The upgrades are due to be carried out in three phases, starting in the Mullin Y Carty section in two weeks.
Further work within the glen area will begin in the coming months, with work to repair erosion and strengthen the riverbank being completed by July 2021.
The Department of Infrastructure says the work is subject to funds being available and access being granted by the landowner.
