Manxman brings global charity home
A charitable Manxman has returned home, still hoping to change millions of lives worldwide.
Simon Maddrell founded Excellent Development IOM in 2002 and since then has provided assistance to people in some of the world's poorest countries.
His charity supports the use of sand dams in arid areas to ensure access to clean drinking water.
He says just £9 can provide safe water for a lifetime.
He has high hopes for the future:
