Public Health asked to research possibility of fluoridation of water
Adding fluoride to the Isle of Man’s drinking water doesn't go far enough to tackle oral health issues in children.
That’s the view of a local dentist who says other interventions could be more effective.
The Council of Ministers has asked Public Health to research the possibility of fluoridation of water to help reduce tooth decay.
But Mark Hepworth, from Abbey Dental, says he doesn't agree with that method:
