A former member of Tynwald is calling on Health Minister Eddie Teare to consider his position.
Ramsey commissioner Leonard Singer claims public confidence has been rocked by what he calls 'two public relations disasters in as many months'.
Mr Singer is referring to the decision to withdraw plans to fluoridate the Island's water supply and the U-turn over halting long stay admissions at three government owned care homes for the elderly.
Mr Singer (pictured) says more care should be shown when it comes to considering people's health needs and Mr Teare may not be the man for the job (audio file attached):
Mr Teare has declined to react directly to Mr Singer's comments.
