A new competition has been launched to encourage the Island's songsmiths to step into the spotlight.
Manx Radio's Young Singer/Songwriter of the Year has been launched as part of the Island of Culture celebrations.
There are several different age categories, ranging from primary school to under-25s.
The winners in each section will be featured on a special programme to be broadcast next year on the Island's national broadcaster.
Manx Radio's programme controller, and chair of the judging panel for the competition, Marc Tyley, says entering couldn't be simpler: (play audio)
Songs can be sent as an MP3 file to marctyley @ manxradio.com or recorded on a CD and sent to Marc at Manx Radio, Broadcasting House, Douglas.
