Paper part of licence now superfluous says Minister
Changes to Island driving licences are bringing us in line with the rest of Europe, according to the Infrastructure minister.
It's been announced that from next Monday, February 22, single-part licences will be introduced, scrapping paper counterparts altogether.
People don't have to make any changes to their licences unless they are due to renew them or are new drivers.
