Only 73 in that category allocated a home in three years, despite nearly 600 on the waiting list
The infrastructure minister insists single people waiting for either social or sheltered housing aren't being 'misguided' about their chances of being allocated a property.
Tim Crookall revealed there are currently 588 people in that category on the waiting lists, but only 73 have been given a home in the past three years.
However, he told the House of Keys his department doesn't currently receive data from all the Island's local authorities so it's not a complete picture.
