
The record breaking explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes has been speaking on the Island about his up-coming adventure across Antarctica.
Sir Ranulph Fiennes was guest speaker at the Isle of Man Sporting and Dining Club event at the Gaiety Theatre.
He took questions from the floor, as well as delivering presentations on his exploits past, present and future.
The new expedition is being called the Coldest Journey, where he hopes to cover more than two thousand miles in six months.
Sir Ranulph described the freezing conditions he will face on the journey.
