
Overall pass rate of 98.4% for Manx students
The head of sixth form at one of the Island's secondary schools believes A-levels are getting harder following a drop in the number of students getting top grades.
The pass rate at A*- B was 42% for Year 13 pupils at the Isle of Man Government's five high schools, down from 2018 when more than half received the highest grades; a similar pattern was seen in the UK.
More than 300 local students were entered for 900 full Level 3 qualification in over 50 subjects, with an overall A*-E pass rate of 98.4%.
