Skate Jam event in Braddan
Skateboarders on the Island are hoping they can put the wheels in motion for a major fundraiser this weekend.
Isle of Man Skateboarding has organised a Skate Jam event tomorrow (Sat) at the Braddan skatepark where they're hoping to raise funds to provide a ramp and ultimately a inside facility for skateboarders to use during the winter.
The Skate Jam will feature competitions for under and over 16s, a barbeque and music.
Christian Edwards from ISB says the park at Cronk Grianagh in Braddan is a great facility but they want to do more for the skateboarding fraternity
The skate jam gets underway at midday tomorrow and runs until 3.30pm. You can find out more on the ISB page on Facebook.
