Strategy aims to attract graduates, businesses and entrepreneurs to Island
A plan to attract more people of working age to the Isle of Man has received the unanimous backing of Tynwald.
The Locate Isle of Man Strategy 2018-2021 aims to do this by encouraging individuals (both experienced and graduates) to relocate here and fill skilled positions, and getting businesses and entrepreneurs to move here as well.
It's also looking to get more Manx graduates to return here upon completion of their studies.
Speaking during the Tynwald debate on the strategy, Department for Enterprise political member Daphne Caine told members it was much needed:
