But an increase in vacancies
There was a slight increase in unemployment in August.
15 more people than the previous month were registered bringing the total number of people without a job to 336.
That's 57 fewer than August 2017.
The Unemployment rate stands at 0.8% of the economically active population.

However, the International Labour Organisation estimate is that 781 individuals are looking for work compared to 766 in July - this gives an unemployment rate of 1.8%.
The higher figure includes people who are not registered as unemployed but may still be looking for work.
Sectors with the highest number of unemployed include business services, retail, catering and skilled construction workers.
973 job vacancies were notified to the Job Centre last month with 652 still vacant at the end of August.
