Island rate remains at 1.7 per cent
Last month saw a slight increase in the number of unemployed people on the Island.
That's according to the latest job market figures, which have been released today.
They reveal a total of 774 people registered as unemployed in October - that's a increase of nine from September, but a decrease of 92 compared to last October's figures.
It means the Island unemployment rate remains at 1.7 per cent.
The Job Centre posted 665 job vacancies during October, of which 342 were left unfilled by the end of the month.
