The Sloc road is open to commuters this morning following lengthy closures yesterday.
Police re-opened the route in the south of the Island at around 8pm last night, with officers remaining on patrol there.
The Constabulary is still searching for the occupants of a vehicle which they tried to stop in the early hours of Thursday morning.
It drove away from officers in the area, just after midnight (26 October).
