Fire train called into action to extinguish blaze
A small fire on the steam railway track delayed trains earlier this week.
It happened at around 2:20pm on Thursday (22) near Kewaigue.
The Fire and Rescue Service worked with the railway team to extinguish the blaze using the fire train; a special vehicle for such events.
Isle of Man Transport says passengers were given the options of waiting on the train or transferring to a minibus.
