A Manx businessman accused of being behind snooker match-fixing allegations involving UK player Stephen Lee has denied all wrongdoing.
Neal Clague says as the player’s former manager, he had no knowledge of match-fixing, and says a governing body report suggesting there was a betting ring on the Island is mistaken.
Earlier this week the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association found Mr Lee guilty of throwing games and said Mr Clague had bet against his own player.
But he says the governing body has jumped to conclusions on flimsy evidence:
