'The Beast' has awoken
Snow and ice have caused travel disruption across the Island this morning, as temperatures plunge to near minus two degrees.
Police have closed Tholt-y-Will Road due to the treacherous conditions, with motorists are advised to take extra time on their journeys and drive with care - Summerhill is now open.
All main bus routes are now operating, but aren't able to serve Foxdale, Pulrose, Anagh Coar, Lakeside, Ballabrooie, Summer Hill, Ballachrink, the Hope, and Niarbyl, for more information head to the Isle of Man Transport twitter feed.
Forecasters at Ronaldsway say temperatures will struggle to rise over 1-2 degrees throughout the day, with further snow showers predicted.
Officials at the Department of Education, Sport and Culture have confirmed all Island schools are closed, but the Buchan School and King Williams College remain open.
Manx Utilities has warned some pipes may have frozen overnight, potentially cutting off customers' water supplies.
If you have an elevated water pipe supplying your home, the advice is to wait until it thaws, or gently heat it with a hairdryer.
