The Isle of Man could go on to forge strong links with the ruling nationalists in the Scottish Parliament.
That view from Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan - in the wake of a high-profile visit to the Island by the Scottish government's Minister for Europe and External Affairs.
Linda Fabiani's visit last month was hosted by the Manx Government.
