Annual amateurs' spectacle put off
Peel's annual Soapbox Derby, due to take place this weekend, has been postponed.
It was set to hit the town on Sunday.
But a lack of entrants - not to mention a patchy weather forecast - mean it will now take place in the first or second weekend of October.
Although plenty showed interest, a number of regular competitors were already committed to events across the water.
