Farmer concerned it could lead to food shortages
Soaring costs of fertiliser are 'horrendous' for the Manx farming industry.
That's according to one farmer who's concerned there could be some food shortages in around 12-18 months time as a result of the rising prices.
They've risen by around 200 per cent over the last year - standing at around £700 per tonne by the end of autumn.
