
Social Care Minister Martyn Quayle has marked his department’s first birthday, saying it’s one of the outstanding successes of the government reorganisation.
Social Care takes in a wide range of responsibilities, including divisions from other departments, and was split from the old Department of Health and Social Security.
Mr Quayle says putting all the functions of social care in one place has created a leaner, more efficient organisation.
