Petitioner airs concerns
A petitioner has called for an investigation into children and family social services to be reopened.
Tynwald's Social Affairs Policy Review Committee published a report two years ago identifying numerous failings in the system.
Among the reccommendations were stopping uneccessary referrals to social services, and a focus on keeping families together rather than breaking them up.
But Robert Hendry from Ramsey believes the conclusions were ignored by the Department of Health and Social Care - and children and families are still suffering.
He used Tynwald Day to call on politicians to look into the issue again:
