Eight-year-old raises hundreds of pounds for charity
An eight-year-old girl from Douglas has raised £800 after being inspired by a blind podcast host.
Sofia Goodall walked more than 3.5 miles along Douglas Promenade, blindfolded, yesterday (25 July).
The youngster decided to take on the challenge, in aid of Sight Matters, after hearing an interview with Evie Roberts on Manx Radio.

And she had this message for those who had supported her:
Her father, John, has thanked the public for their support saying: “We are incredibly proud of Sofia for coming up with this idea and following it through to the end, raising money and awareness for such a wonderful local charity.”
