There's good news for Island students who gain top grades in their A Levels this week - but could miss out on university for financial reasons.
Island software firm Microgaming is funding a new educational bursary scheme, offering awards of up to £6000 per year to fund living and accommodation costs.
Students who gain top grades when they open their exam results tomorrow and want to apply, should act now.
The deadline for applications - which will be handled by the Department of Education - is a week today (20 August).
Micogaming's Finance Director John Coleman says the company wants to invest in the Island's youth - and will take a close interest in the progress of those who win its backing
The awards are for students eligible for Department of Education maintenance grants.
To apply, contact John Gill at the department on 685828 or e mail john.gill@doe.gov.im
