Four soldiers will thank young members of the Isle of Man Family Library this morning.
The children sent messages, gifts and Christmas cards to the soldiers while they were serving in Iraq.
The soldiers, three of whom are from the Island, serve with the first Battalion, Duke of Lancaster's Regiment.
Librarian in charge Mary Cousins encouraged the youngsters to get involved (audio file attached):
The soldiers are due to present a gift to the library at 11.30am.
