Minister welcomes Beamans' review
The infrastructure minister says a review into the capability and capacity of his department is 'a healthy exercise'.
The DoI is under pressure over its handling of major capital projects, like Douglas Promenade and the Isle of Man ferry terminal in Liverpool.
Tim Baker says the department faces a 'big challenge' in overseeing these schemes, maintenance, and day-to-day operations
He told ManxRadio he's open to changing how certain services are run:
The review's being carried out by management consultants Beamans, after being commissioned by the Cabinet Office.
It's due to be completed and presented to ministers by the 1 April.
