Additional spending has been approved by treasury
The chief executive of Manx Care says she considered that pausing routine surgery over eight weeks would be 'entirely reasonable'.
Teresa Cope has spoken for the first time since news of some procedures being cut.
Earlier today Manx Care announced that Treasury will now provide more funding allowing it to reinstate many planned procedures on Island.
Ms Cope says they are working with tertiary providers and are hoping to look at things like virtual outpatient appointments, and to repatriate some work, in order to contain costs:
