Police urge public to consider whether journeys are necessary

Wintry showers have affected the Island overnight, resulting in difficult driving conditions in some areas.
The Isle of Man Constabulary says the Department of Infrastructure is working hard to improve road conditions, but officers are asking the public to consider whether their journey is necessary.
The Emergency Services Joint Control Room has confirmed to Manx Radio that the Mountain Road is closed, but the Coast Road remains open.
A yellow weather warning for hail, sleet and ice patches remains in force until 10am.
