Sir Norman Wisdom's son says he has been touched by the tributes he has received since his father passed away.
Nick Wisdom says it was Sir Norman's warmth which made him so popular and that has been reflected in the hundreds of letters he has received since he died.
He says he had a unique brand of humour and hopes the world of show business will see another like him.
When asked what it was like growing up with a famous father, Nick said he didn't think it had been that out of the ordinary (play audio file):
It's understood there will be a service of remembrance for Sir Norman Wisdom at St Paul's Cathedral London on his birthday, February 4.
