£15,000 needed for 'dream' project
The family of Sophie Birtles, whose story inspired an outpouring of support Island-wide, say 'every little helps' in keeping their dream alive.
The 13-year-old from Onchan passed away in June, after battling a rare genetic disorder.
An avid fan of the outdoors, Sophie's relatives are now raising money to build a disabled-friendly camping pod at Glen Wyllin campsite.
They're currently seeking pledges toward a target sum of £15,000 - Sophie's mum Ali told Manx Radio what it would mean:
