Orrisdale Farm hosts first show of the summer
The Southern District Agricultural Show is set to return to Orrisdale Farm this weekend
Taking place over Saturday and Sunday (26-27 July) the event will showcase Manx producers and feature competitions, classic cars, dog shows and much more.
The first ever Southern Show was held in 1914, the year the Southern District Agricultural Society was founded.
The annual event has been held at a number of locations around the Island, moving to its current home near Ballasalla in 2020.
President Claire Walker and Secretary Zoe Hampton have been setting up the event:

There will be various restrictions around the Orrisdale Road and St Marks Road, including three-way traffic signals in operation during peak hours.
