Loneliness charity offers one-to-one support
A Manx charity that provides companionship to older people in the south of the Island is looking for more volunteers.
Southern Befrienders has been arranging one-to-one befriending, outings and social events over the past 17 years.
It currently has around 120 volunteers supporting nearly 200 people.
Anyone interested in volunteering is urged to phone 833025, email southernbefrienders@manx.net or reach out via the charity's Facebook page.
