£3.2 million to 'accelerate' design stage
MHKs in the south of the Island have welcomed a cash injection designed to ‘accelerate’ the design stage of a new secondary school.
Treasury has committed £3.2 million for the development of plans to replace Castle Rushen High School.
The money has come from the Project Development Fund as part of this year’s Budget which was approved by Tynwald today (20 February).
It also confirmed additional ‘specialist advisors’ have been appointed to lead on the development – you can find out more HERE.
