New home for agriculture event
The Southern District Agricultural Show gets underway this morning at its new home.
The event has moved from Great Meadow in Castletown after almost 50 years, and is now taking place at Orrisdale Farm in Ballasalla.

The show is open between 10am and 6pm today and tomorrow, and admission is £7.
Last year had to be called off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Show secretary Sarah Comish says the last 12 months have highlighted the importance of supporting local farmers and producers:
