
Belinda and Dougie Coole’s shorthorn dairy cow – Rodway Moss Rose - of Ballamodha has been crowned supreme champion at the Southern District Agricultural Show.
The Cooles also picked up the Billown Cup for the Best Pedigree Beast and the R. H. Gelling Cup for the Supreme Champion in the cattle sections.
The accolade of reserve champion went to a shire horse owned by Clare Christian, while an Aberdeen Angus bull owned by the president of the National Farmers Union Howard Quayle was named second reserve.
Judging was by a well-known figure in agricultural circles, MHK Phil Gawne.
