SPC sailings cancelled or amended due to spring tides

Conditions at Heysham don't meet company's safety criteria

A number of sailings to and from Heysham this week have been cancelled or changed because of spring tides.

The Steam Packet Company says conditions within Heysham Port don't meet its safety criteria.

Sailings from tonight (Tuesday) until Sunday's afternoon departure from Heysham will be affected.

The company says it 'deeply regrets' having to make the alterations and has apologised for the inconvenience.

The affected sailings are as follows:

Tuesday 4 February

• Douglas to Heysham 19:15 – Now departing at 20:30

Wednesday 5 February

• Heysham to Douglas 01:45 – Now departing at 03:00
• Douglas to Heysham 08:00 – Now departing at 08:45
• Heysham – IOM 13:45 – Now departing at 14:30
• Douglas to Heysham 20:00 – Now departing at 19:15

Friday 7 February

• Douglas to Heysham 08:00 – Now departing at 11:00
• Heysham to Douglas 13:45 – Now departing at 17:30
• Douglas to Heysham 19:15 – Cancelled

Saturday 8 February

• Heysham to Douglas 01:45h – Cancelled
• Douglas to Heysham 08:00 – Now departing at 12:00
• Heysham to Douglas 13:45 – Now departing at 18:30
• Douglas to Heysham 19:15 – Cancelled

Sunday 9 February

• Heysham to Douglas  01:45 - Cancelled
• Douglas to Heysham 08:00 – Now departing at 07:00
