Public must have confidence in system - Watterson
The Speaker of the House of Keys says he doesn't believe online voting is currently the right way forward for general elections on the Island.
Juan Watterson was speaking after giving evidence to the Select Committee on the Organization and Operation of the General Election.
The Committee, chaired by David Cretney MLC, was set up following several discrepancies and procedural issues raised across the Island following 2016's election.
Mr Watterson says the public has to have confidence in any system before it can be considered.
