Motion passed in House of Keys
A road in Port Erin will be permanently closed to allow a 72 bed care home to be built.
Bradda Close runs through the plot where planning permission for the new facility has been given.
Both Rushen MHKs voted against the order which was passed in the House of Keys.
The president used his casting vote in favour of the closure after Legislative Council was split on the issue.
